Due to such a poor business return at our last meeting at China Village, we were uninvited.  I promised the manager that everyone would buy dinner.  His deal is - each person buys dinner or pays a $10 flat fee.

  • Dr. Klein serves on the board of the Phoenix Area League of Women Voters. From 6:30 until 7:30, Dr. Klein will give a speech on Ranked Choice Voting and how pursuing such reforms can be beneficial for voters and third parties, like the Libertarian Party.

Arizona Law requires that this meeting be held every two years following a general election. At this meeting, we will choose the Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, First Vice Chair, and Second Vice Chair, as well as the state committeemen to represent MCLP as part of the AZLP state committee. These people will be elected to serve for the next two years. Precinct committeemen who were elected in the September primary election form the county committee and are eligible to vote.

This meeting should be attended by the current MCLP board members, as this is an official meeting of the MCLP. County committee members (the precinct committeemen who were elected in September), as well as anyone else who cares to add their two cents to the county party's priorities and agenda for the next two years, should also attend. Notices have been sent by regular mail to the new county committee members as required by Arizona Law.

• Food and beverages will not be available at the meeting.  If you want something to eat or drink during the meeting, you should bring it with you.
