We The Living is an Italian-made film from 1942 that is based on Ayn Rand's novel of the same name. As the movie's website points out, "... The movie is set in the chaotic aftermath of the Bolshevik revolution. It is the story of a young woman (played by Alida Valli) who courageously defies the brutal regime.  It is an extraordinary tale of romance and betrayal and, at its core, a fierce and impassioned outcry for the right of each human being to live free."

Duncan Scott, who holds the rights to the film, was kind enough to give permission to allow the group to host the viewing.  The movie is 3 hours long, so 90 minutes will be screened this evening and the remaining 90 minutes will be shown on February 22 at Bookmans. It is possible the movie will be shown in its entirety at this meeting. We will advise everyone as the screening begins. If you can, plan on staying until 10:00 to see the entire movie. Thank you.

After we finish watching each tape, there will be a discussion of it and the philosophical issues brought up in the film.
