Arizona Libertarian State Convention

The following was drafted by the state party to announce the biennial organizing meeting and convention. This is a morning meeting which is free to attend. If you want breakfast there is a nominal charge. Help support you state party by attending.
There is a also a mention of the Nullify Now Event. The MCLP will host a meet and greet in the Liberty Bar are. We will also have a table to pass out literature. If you plan on attending the state convention see the Maricopa County Chairman for more information on this outreach event.

 Hello All,
The Libertarian Party of Arizona Biennial Organizing Meeting *will* take place this coming Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Aunt Chilada's Restaurant in Phoenix (7330 N. Dreamy Draw Drive, 3 blocks east of the intersection of 16th Street and Morten, just south of the Pointe at Squaw Peak complex).
Our event will begin at 9:30 a.m., with sign-in, credentialing, a multi-media presentation and speaker on immigration issues (as well as breakfast buffet).
The business meeting is scheduled to commence at 10:30 a.m. (allowing those travelling from points further out some additional travel time), with presentation of minutes and reports, election of officers, review of business, (including budgetary and voter registration issues), and similar.
A guest speaker seeking the LP 2012 presidential nomination has asked for the opportunity to address the gathered group following the business elements, at approximately 12:30. We expect to adjourn by 1:15.
The meeting has been deliberately kept short this year (workshop sessions and breaks eliminated) in order to allow interested members to attend the Nullify Now! conference (featuring Gary Johnson, Charles Goyette, and others) taking place the same afternoon beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the downtown Sheraton.  (If people decide to carpool to the Sheraton, there will be several places to consider leaving vehicles in the area around Aunt Chilada's; announcements will be made towards the end of the meeting with suggestions).
There is no cost for attendance at our meeting.  A modest contribution ($12 to $18) is requested to cover the costs of the breakfast buffet and space.
(Tiffany Jones, one of Aunt Chilada's co-owners and co-managers, was a registered Libertarian for years - let's see what we can do to get her back on 'the team'!)
A provisional agenda is attached below. Registered state committeemen received prior written notice as required by statute. Please share this information with all you may know who are interested in the future and success of the Arizona Libertarian Party.
Many thanks,
